It is confirmed that Sony will have a product announcement on April 20th, ahead of NAB 2020, which was already cancelled due to the Coronavirus. Maybe we will see the long rumored Sony Alpha a7S III.
Press release:
Sony ‘s Press Conference for NAB now Rescheduled to Monday April 20th 9:00 am PST / 12:00 EST
Sony is closely watching the global spread of the new coronavirus and has decided not to hold a press conference in Las Vegas in April to protect its employees, partners and industry. Sony hopes to communicate our innovations at a press conference online on April 20.
The NAB show has been canceled, but Sony seems to hold a NAB press conference on the Internet at a different date and time. NAB is a broadcasting equipment exhibition, so it may be better not to expect the appearance of still cameras, but you can expect the appearance of new camcorders and action cameras.
