Sorry if this is a super basic question, I am completely new to all of this camera gear stuff.
I just picked up a DJI Osmo Pocket 4 to film some rolling shots of my 2018 Ford Mustang GT. It's got around 45k miles on it and mostly gets driven on sunny weekend highway cruises here in Southern California where the glare gets pretty blinding. A friend told me I need ND filters for the camera when filming outside, but honestly, I have no idea what they actually do or which ones to buy.
There are so many options online with different numbers like ND8, ND16, ND32, and I'm totally lost. Since I'm just shooting my car on the highway, which ones do I actually need to get that smooth motion blur?
What are the best ND filters for a beginner using the Osmo Pocket 4?
idk about pocket 4 yet but for sunny socal highway shots on a budget just grab Freewell Standard Day ND Filter Set and double-check your shutter speed before filming...
