Just picked up the Avata 2 and honestly im kinda terrified of breaking it already lol. I live in Seattle so the case definitely needs to be weather-resistant because rain is basically guaranteed here. I checked out the official DJI fly more bag online but some folks on Reddit say it doesnt protect the props enough? Then I saw the Nanuk cases which look like tanks but might be overkill for my budget since I just spent a ton on the drone. Im basically looking for something that fits the motion controller and the goggles comfortably without me having to take the props off every single time I move spots. Does anyone have a solid recommendation that fits this?

If you want a balance of durability and convenience without the bulk of a full hard case, try the PGYTECH Carrying Case for DJI Avata 2. It is weather-resistant and features custom molded dividers that accommodate the drone with props attached, along with the goggles and motion controller. It is significantly more protective than the official DJI bag and holds up much better in wet climates like Seattle.

Late to the party on this one, but I totally feel your pain. I spent years dragging my gear through the PNW mist, and honestly, soft bags are just glorified sponges. Last year, I finally stopped messing around and picked up the Lykus Titan M110 Hard Case for DJI Avata 2. Honestly, it was a game-changer—the shell is surprisingly tough for the price, and it has this specific layout that lets the drone sit comfortably without me having to fiddle with the props at all. The real kicker for Seattle living? It’s got a pressure valve and a tight seal. I’ve dropped it in puddles and hiked through actual downpours, and the inside stays bone-dry. It feels way more secure than the stock bag. If you’re tired of worrying every time the sky turns gray, just grab a hard case with a good gasket seal. It’s the only way to sleep easy when you’re out flying in this weather.
