Leica SL2 to be Announced in Autumn: M10X, M with EVF, APO Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 Asph

After the new Leica Q2 ( B&H/ Adorama) was officially announced, a new Leica camera is coming near! According to the latest rumors from LR, the upcoming Leica SL2 will be announced in the 3rd quarter of 2019  with the 47MP  similar sensor.

Below are some Leica Rumors

  • The new Leica SL2 will not be announced in June but more likely in the 3rd quarter of 2019 – 47MP with similar sensor to the Leica Q2.
  • No new Leica M11 in 2020 but there could be a new Leica M10X with a 47MP sensor rumored for Photokina 2020 (not sure what X stands for – maybe “xtra resolution”).
  • New Leica M mount camera with EVF is rumored to be in the works (already rumored before here): 24MP sensor, body similar to the M240. The camera will have a native M mount and will be offered as an alternative to the M10 (the pictures above are just a concept sent in by a reader).
  • New Leica APO Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 Asph lens with closer focusing capabilities (not close enough for macro photography)

Now, you can get an additional $600 instant trade-in credit on Leica SL at B&H.
