Nikon Z5 IIC official sample images

Nikon’s Japanese gallery identifies the lenses, exposure settings and image treatments. These three examples cover a portrait, twilight and food photography.

Portrait with the 24–50mm kit zoom

Soft foreground flowers frame the face. The listed DG Film Look recipe makes this a styled image rather than a neutral color reference.

Twilight with the 40mm f/2

The sparkler frame uses Twilight mode and f/5.6.

Food with the 40mm f/2

The seafood photograph uses Food mode.

Nikon notes sample-camera use and RAW-to-JPEG conversion. The separate “Photographer’s select” pictures involve additional processing.

DCFever: a separate gallery with full-size files

DCFever’s Nikon Z5IIC sample gallery contains 31 photographs and provides access to original images and capture information. The linked frame is number 15: a 6048 × 4032 JPEG, photographed at 135mm, 1/500 second, f/1.8 and ISO 400. Its camera-model field reads NIKON Z5_2C.

This is a useful next stop for readers who want to examine a full-resolution file. Keep the lens and aperture in mind: a 135mm image at f/1.8 will render a scene very differently from the kit zoom. The gallery’s JPEGs also should not be treated as untouched RAW data.

More galleries at B&H and Exibart Street

These launch galleries should not be counted as additional independent camera tests. Exibart identifies its pictures as Nikon-supplied, and neither linked launch article presents a controlled image-quality comparison.

What to look for when comparing the samples

Start with the image treatment, then check the lens, aperture and ISO. A creative recipe can change the apparent color and contrast, while focal length and subject distance strongly affect background blur. For detail or noise comparisons, open the original files at the same viewing scale rather than comparing differently sized web previews.

The photographs here offer examples of finished output. They do not establish autofocus hit rates, stabilization performance or RAW shadow-recovery limits. Also check the model name when searching: the Z5 II and Z5IIC have separate sample galleries.

Official images: Nikon; photographer credits appear under each photograph. Additional galleries and reporting: DCFever, B&H eXplora and Exibart Street, linked above. This roundup is based on those published sources, rather than our own camera test.
