After the flagship APS-C mirrorless Sony A6500 was announced, the next will be a full-frame mirrorless camera. It will be the Sony A9, rumored to come in early 2017. Several months ago, Sony A9 prototype was already in testing using a 72MP full frame sensor.

Sony A6500 costs $1,399, available for pre-order at B&H. It will start shipping in November 2016.
