After the flagship APS-C mirrorless Sony A6500 was announced, the next will be a full-frame mirrorless camera. It will be the Sony A9, rumored to come in early 2017. Several months ago, Sony A9 prototype was already in testing using a 72MP full frame sensor.
Below are rumored specifications for Sony Alpha a9:
- 72MP Full Frame Mirrorless Sensor
- Prototype already in testing
- Slightly large than Sony a7RII
- No Built-in Battery Grip
- Dual card slots
- Joystick for autofocus point moving
- Announcement could be in early 2017
