Canon EOS R with APS-C Sensor in Testing

After Canon announced the new full-frame mirrorless Canon EOS R (Amazon/ B&H/ Adorama), Canon is now testing another Canon EOS R camera. According to the latest rumors from CR2, this new camera will have an APS-C image sensor and could be also a professional mirrorless camera for sports photographers. Canon executive said, “Since EOS R is a full-size system, it can not be downsized to EOS M size. EOS M has a role/existence value as an APS-C system…”

Currently, there is absolutely no reliable information about the Canon EOS 7D Mark III camera. Maybe, we would’t see this new camera until the first half of 2019.
