After Olympus announced the Olympus OM-1 (Amazon/ B&H/ Adorama) in February, Olympus OM-5 is coming! According to the FT5, OM SYSTEM OM-5 camera is rumored to be announced in late September and will start shipping in October!
This time it’s a rumor that I’m 99.9% sure, so it seems to be highly credible. The previous rumor stated that “the announcement of OM-5 was postponed from late September to early October”, so this rumor inherits the content of the previous rumor. It’s a narrowed down shape with a good time.
There have been rumors that the OM-5 will be sold together, not the successor to the E-M5 Mark III, but it’s interesting to see how the OM-5 will become.
