Good News!!! According to the latest rumors from CR2, Canon will release new EOS R camera sometime in 2019. This new camera will have a 100MP full frame sensor and IBIS, to replace current Canon EOS 5DS/5DS R DSLR cameras.
Canon EOS 5DS/5DS R high megapixel full frame DSLR cameras are rumored to be discontinued, and will be replaced by new EOS R full frame mirrorless cameras with 100MP sensor. This new camera is expected to be released around 2020, after there are enough native RF lenses for landscape and studio shooters.
In 2018 Canon released the first mirrorless full frame Canon EOS R (Amazon/ B&H/ Adorama). It is now a great tool for a lot of photographers.
