Two more Canon EOS R bodies are coming in 2021! According to the latest rumors from CR2, two more Canon EOS R bodies will be announced and released in 2021.
Currently, there is no information about specs or camera position.
There are probably three possibilities.
Since the direct successor to EOS R is likely to be EOS R6, the possibility of a successor to EOS R can be ruled out.
Canon EOS RP may be replaced to become the new low cost EOS R. It could possibly named “Canon EOS R9”.
Many people expects Canon EOS R1 to arrive, but we think such a model might be further into the future.
