Panasonic has just announced the new Panasonic DMC-GF8, featuring a 16MP Live MOS Four Thirds sensor. In a nod to the selfie generation, its 3″ touchscreen LCD (1.04M dots) can flip upward 180 degrees. The features that differentiate it from Panasonic GF7 that preceded it are all related to selfies; users can retouch skin, brighten teeth and appear to be skinnier.
The interesting news is that Panasonic GF8 will not be available in the USA. It’s confirmed that it will be available in Australia (AU$699) and Asia.
