This is the first image of the upcoming Leica M-D Typ 262 Camera, leaked at the LR. This new camera is expected to be announced in May 2016 for about 5,940 Euros (around $6,700), more expensive than the current M Typ 262.
Latest rumors for Leica M-D Typ 262 camera:
- the same size as the M Typ 240/262.
- No LCD screen .
- The top and bottom plates are rumored to be made from brass.
- To be announced in May.
- EU retail price: 5,940 Euros (around $6,700) – basically more expensive than the M Typ 262 even though the M-D will not have a LCD screen.
- The same sensor as the M 262 model.
- Strap lugs (the M 60 did not have it)
