The upcoming Canon EOS R5 (listed at B&H/ Adorama) is expected to start shipping in late July 2020. According to the Nokishit-c, Canon EOS R5 has 45 MP sensor and R6 only 20MP.

Canon “EOS R5” is expected to be released in Japan in late July (some retail stores in the US set the shipment start date for the R5, RF 800mm, and RF 600mm to July 30, 2020). The lens kit of Canon EOS R5 has not been confirmed in Japan at this time (Canon R6 confirms body and RF24-105mmSTM kit).
