DxOMark has just tested the new Canon EOS M3 and compared with several other DSLRs and Mirrorless camers, such as Canon EOS T6i, T6s, 70D, 7D Mark II and Sony A5100, A6000.
With an overall DxOMark Sensor Score of 72 points, Canon EOS M3 ranks alongside the T6s(70 points), T6i(71 points), Canon’s higher-end EOS 70D (68 points) and EOS 7D Mk II (70 points). DXOMark has just tested the sensor of Canon EOS Rebel T6i and posted their review. It is the first Canon APS-C format camera to offer 12-stop dynamic range and gets the 71 overall score, better than Canon EOS 70D and EOS 7D Mark II.
Canon 5D Mark IV is coming in 2016 after the shipping of the C300 Mark II and EOS-1D X Mark II. According the the latest rumors from NL, Canon is now testing the 5D Mark IV with two different sensor (18MP/ 24MP) and the 24MP sensor is most likely. The continuous shooting speed is also rumored to be less than 8 fps.
