Canon has just officially announced the new Canon EOS R1. It is built around a 24MP Stacked CMOS sensor that reads out nearly twice as fast as the existing R3. It can shoot stills at up to 40fps and can capture 6K/60 Raw video internally. Canon EOS R1 has the largest, highest resolution and brightest electronic viewfinder yet offered in an EOS camera, with 9.44M dots, 0.9x magnification.
This new camera costs $6,299, first available for pre-order at B&H/ Adorama.
