CAPA CAMERA WEB posted the best selling products of Yodobashi Camera’s interchangeable lens digital cameras in the First half of January 2024. Sony A7C II (Amazon/ B&H/ Adorama) still wins the top1 position, followed by Sony A7 IV Lens Kit (Amazon/ B&H/ Adorama).

- In the first ranking of 2024, the 1st place is the Sony A7C II body. It has extended his record of consecutive victories since November 2023 to five. Sony dominated the top three this time as well.
- By manufacturer, Sony has 5 models, Canon has 3 models, and Nikon has 2 models, making it a competition between the top three.
- Canon has three models in the ranking this time, but the only full-size model is Canon EOS R6 Mark II compared to two APS-C cameras.
- Nikon’s “Z 50 16-50 VR Lens Kit” has returned from being out of the rankings after a long time, and two APS-C models have entered the rankings. Furthermore, Nikon Z8 which was ranked the 6th last time, was not ranked, and Nikon Z 50 Double Zoom Kit also missed out on the top 10.
In the first Yodobashi ranking of 2024, Sony dominates the top 4 and continues to do well. What’s interesting about Sony is that all of the models in the ranking are full-size, and unlike other companies, there are no APS-C models in the ranking.Sony A9 III was released on January 26th, so it will be interesting to see where it ranks next.
Nikon’s APS-C cameras are doing well, but we are concerned that the hitherto popular Nikon Z8 has fallen out of the rankings. Since Nikon Z6 III is rumored to be released, is Nikon’s full-frame camera going to have to wait and see?
Canon has three models in the ranking, and although Canon EOS R6 Mark II has improved its ranking from last time, it still continues to lack momentum.
