Nikon has just officially announced the new Nikon ZR. It is the company’s first camera to wear the Red branding alongside the manufacturer’s name. It’s a full-frame video camera built around the same sensor as Nikon Z6 III, making it capable of 6K/60 video in either N-Raw or the Red-derived R3D NE Raw format.
This new camera costs $2,199, first available for pre-order at B&H/ Adorama.
In September 2020, Sony officially announced the new Sony A7C (Amazon/ B&H/ Adorama). It is a compact full-frame mirrorless camera, featuring a 24MP sensor and 5-axis image stabilization, the same hybrid autofocus system as higher-end models, with “Real-time Tracking” and Eye AF for both humans and animals, 4K footage at 30p (with a 1.6x crop) and 24p, HLG and S-Log2/3, Slow & Quick motion, Full HD / 120 fps capture, and a 3.5mm mic input but no headphone socket.
