A new Sony full-frame mirrorless camera is coming! According to the latest rumors from SAR, Sony A5 will be announced in mid-September this year. 

Since this new entry-Level Full-Size Cameras is rumored to cost under $1000, we speculate that this camera is Sony’s answer to the $899 Canon EOS-RP.

• Newly designed body that mixes metal and plastic similar to α5xxx / α6xxx
• Very large grip to house the battery
• Continuous shooting 5 frames/sec
• In-body image stabilization
• No pop-up flash
• Pop-up EVF with 770,000 pixels (2.3 million dots) and 0.6x magnification
• Touch panel similar to Sony α7S III
• Video is 4K24p 10bit 100Mbps, 4K30p 10bit 100Mbps. It is also equipped with 50/60p 4K, but works only in s&q mode, with no cropped audio.
