Canon EOS 5D Mark IV to Have CFast & SD Card Slots

Canon-5d-mark-III

The upcoming Canon EOS 5D Mark IV is expected to be announced in late August at Photokina 2016.  According to the latest rumors from CR2, this new camera will have dual memory card slots – CFast 2.0 card slot & SDXC UHS-II card slot.

If the camera is going to shoot internal 4K like the Canon EOS-1D X Mark II, the CFast slot will make a lot of sense.

Below are some rumored specifications:

  • Dual memory card slots
  • Internal 4K
  • 120fps at 1080p
  • Built-in Wi-Fi
  • Built-in GPS
  • BG-E20 new battery grip
  • Touchscreen
  • Price around $3,500 USD, the same as Canon EOS 5D Mark III at launch
  • To be released in October, 2016
